WELCOME

From farm journalist to theater marketing professional, I’ve written stories all my life.

Now, I’m telling mine.

Our family was like other families in suburban Detroit in the 1960s—except all four of us kids were adopted as infants. And fire burst into our home unpredictably. The wild affliction of my brother.

Playing with your Mom’s Zippo lighter as a toddler doesn’t necessarily lead to pyromania. But I have the benefit of hindsight, of adding up all the fires.

My debut memoir, GENES ON FIRE, explores the nature/nurture of identity.

Currently seeking representation.
